Autism Center expected to open in January

BACA plans to open a center in our region to provide applied behavioral analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism under the age of ten. Location will be in Mishawaka, Elkhart, or vicinity. Contact Kathi Pierce for more info.
BACA - Behavior Analysis Center for Autism Dr. Carl Sundberg, BCBA-D Executive Director/President  Nearly 40 years ago a group of students under the direction of Dr. Jack Michael applied Dr. B. F. Skinner's analysis of verbal behavior to teaching children with developmental delays. Years of research have solidified the effectiveness of this approach. Today the Behavior Analysis Center for Autism applies this approach of verbal behavior to improve the quality of life for every child who walks through the door.
About the BACA  Our program: In center program M-F 8:30-4:30 Treatment based on curent research in field of behavior analysis Currently serving children 10 years and younger Planned expansion to provide services to teens and older children Will be located close to South Bend, Granger, Mishawaka, Elkhart, or Goshen  Our staff: Will all receive intensive training at established BACA facility in Fishers, IN Have a minimum 4 year college education Will receive ongoing training provided by Consultants and Dr. Sundberg  Opening Expected opening date January 16, 2012  For more information or questions contact Kathi Pierce 574-274-3838
