Laura Rowley, Julie Sommers and Cecilia Coble  are coming to us from TACA of Indianapolis to give us an introduction to biomedical approaches to treating autism. Each of the women is the mother of a child with autism.

In addition to talking about biomedical treatments, they will also introduce their organization,
TACA (Talk about Curing Autism). TACA  is about empowering families with the tools they need to speed up the cycle time to effective treatments and achieve best possible outcomes. What are those tools? Educational meetings, one-on-one mentoring, Journey Guide and DVDs, updated website & communications, new parent orientation, and the ongoing support parents need.

We will also hear from a local parent who has benefited from TACA's approaches.
