Encountering Law Enforcement

Encountering Law Enforcement is the focus of the next meeting of the Asperger-Autism Group of Goshen. Topics addressed will include individuals on the autism spectrum and safety, wandering, runaways, stranger-danger, cyber-safety, arrest and incarceration, and interacting with law enforcement and the judicial system. Brad Rogers, Elkhart County Sheriff, will speak from his experience as a law enforcement professional and a family member of someone on the autism spectrum.

The meeting will be Monday, Feb 6, 7-8:30 p.m. at Eighth Street Mennonite Church, 602 South Eighth Street, Goshen. It is free and open to the public.
