Working as a team with your child’s school

Working as a team with your child’s school is the focus of the next meeting of the Asperger-Autism Group of Goshen. Speaking will be Roma Osterloo, Autism Coordinator at Elkhart Community Schools, and Amy Smoot, a First Grade/Mentor Teacher at Model School in Goshen.

The meeting will be Monday, August 6, 7-8:30 p.m. at Eighth Street Mennonite Church, 602 South Eighth Street, Goshen. It is free and open to the public. The group's lending library of books and videos is available beginning at 6:45 p.m. Details online at www.autismgoshen.org. Informal Asperger/autism conversation nights are held on the third Thursday of each month. The next one will be August 16 in the cafe at Martins Supermarket--Goshen (1527 Bashor Road, near Bashor & Elkhart Rd, Goshen), 7:00-8:30 pm.
