  • Teaching Social Skills

    Teaching social skills and social thinking  will be the topic of the next meeting of Asperger Autism Group of Goshen, to be held Monday, September 8, 7-8:30 p.m. at Eighth Street Mennonite Church, 602 South Eighth Street, Goshen.


    A video featuring Michelle Garcia Winner will be shown, followed by a discussion hosted by Roma Osterloo, Autism Coordinator for Elkhart Community Schools. Michelle Garcia Winner is a speech pathologist who specializes in the treatment of individuals with social-cognitive deficits typical of the autism spectrum. She is  is internationally recognized as a thoughtful and prolific writer in the area of social thinking/social skills, and founder of SocialThinking.com.

Educational meetings are usually the first Monday of the month*

Eighth Street Mennonite Church, 602 S. 8th Street, Goshen, IN

7:00-8:30 p.m.

We are now offering childcare at Monday meetings.
Please contact Brenda Yost in advance to reserve childcare.

Contact Christine Guth if you would like a Spanish interpreter.
All our meetings are open to the public and free of charge. Lending library opens at 6:45.
